The Underground Palace

The underground palace is the core of the whole mausoleum. It is where the outer coffin and the inner coffin of Emperor Qin ,as well as the buried objects were place .according to historical records and recent archaeological survey, the nearly square shaped palace consists of three parts the main burial chamber and he passages between them. In the center of the palace lies the main burial chamber , in which the coffin was placed. Burial objects were arranged on all sides of the main burial chamber. The latest researches show that the underground palace is about 30 meters in depth and that there is intense mercury contamination as far as 1200 square meters around the underground palace. It can therefore be conclude that what was described in historical records as rivers and seas of mercury is in fact true and reliable. This indicates that the interior of the mausoleum is a ground and gorgeous palace filled with treasures, and protected by ingenious security measures.

The museum of the Terracotta Army was opened to the public in 1979. it is the world famous museum that is constructed on the site of its findings. The main exhibits of the museum of Terracotta Army are three exposed pits with clay warriors and horses. As well as the hall of two bronze chariots and horses.Approximately8.000 clay warriors and horses more than 10.000bronze weapons have been found in the pits. The museum is like a treasure house of Qin Dynasty’s military affairs, science and technology, art and culture. It has been listed as an UNESCO world heritage site。 Today the Eighth Wonder of the world has become a synonym for the well known Terracotta Army.

Qin shihuang who was the first Emperor in China for uniformed the six countries in China during the before B.c 259 to B.c 210. Posterity person is named as first Emperor in China. He was established the first king feudalism dynasty and named himself king. Qin sovereign had made a large outstanding achievement for China’s unification. Such as unify the Chinese character, depose state and establish county, unify the currency and metrology, same orbit with vehicle and same distance with road. Build up aqueduct, to build the Great Wall, bear down the Hun etc.
